Begin with a ride through town in a media equipped vehicle as your naturalist
photo guide shares personal images, insightful photography techniques & a bit of
the area's cultural and natural history. Your guide will choose from a variety
of secluded destinations, from the area's iconic mining ruins and glacial
landscapes to sheltered rainforest canopies and secluded shorelines.
Explore easy trails offering inspiring vantages, from wildflowers and eagles, to
muskeg and spawning salmon (in season. Juneau's wilderness habitat provides a
wealth of subjects as you work on com-
posing images to tell the story of this magnificent place. Expect
to leave Juneau with an appreciation of the area and good photos that support
what you have experienced and learned.

Group size is limited to 14 participants to ensure a comfortable
and interactive atmosphere. Walking is approximately 1 ½ miles on gentle
improved trails. Rain ponchos, umbrellas, camera towels, monopods, bottled water
and a granola snack are included. Charge your batteries and bring plenty of film
and memory. This tour operates in all weather conditions. Wear comfortable
walking shoes and dress in layers as temperatures may vary.
Children must be at accompanied by a parent. A free digital
camera is included for each child 12 & under!
