WOW!!!
Thank you so
much for having a service like this – your trips made our honeymoon
exactly what we wanted it to be…a once in a lifetime
experience. There wasn’t one thing that we did that we were
like “could have skipped that” and we still can’t agree on our
favorite. How many times in your life will you be able to say
“I walked on & touched something from the Ice Age” (maybe if you
are from Alaska but not if you are from Kentucky!!!)
You are not
kidding about the personal experience – the entire time we were
in Skagway we felt like people and not numbers – we were the
only people on the Ultimate Nature Combo Tour and the Zodiac
Wildlife Quest. The special attention you gave us when our
tours ran over and we needed to meet the boat will not be
forgotten – the types of special touches only a small company
can offer.

had so many “firsts” on this trip and I hope every other couple
that books with you can experience the same joy we did – 1st
time kayaking, 1st time seeing a glacier, 1st
time in a helicopter, 1st time seeing bears in the
wild & seeing cubs!!, 1st time on an itty bitty
plane, I could go on and on!

We are back
from out trip and wanted to thank you for a fantastic job. We
had the best time and appreciate your help. You have chosen
the best tour companies Alaska has to offer and we could not
be more impressed. All three companies were friendly and fun
and really made us feel welcome. They showed us their
beautiful state like no other and really went out of their way

Thank you very much for booking
the Chilkat Bald Eagle raft trip that we enjoyed on July
21st. Pam, her son John, and our Tlingit guide Victor made sure
that the afternoon we spent with them was the highlight of our
brief stay in Alaska. We would highly recommend this excursion
for anyone visiting Skagway or Haines.
Just writing to let you know we just
returned from our cruise and everything worked out very well. All
the tours were excellent, but my kids said the highlight of the trip
(and their lives) was the glacier helicopter tour in Juneau. Our
pilot, Steve, was great. He didn't just fly us up to Hubbard
Glacier, he got out and taught the kids about glaciers by showing
them first hand. I've already recommended you to some friends
headed to Alaska over the next couple months.

Your personal attention made this excursion that much more special.
We enjoyed ourselves immensely and truly cannot thank you enough for
wonderful adventure. Thank goodness we booked this ourselves and
stayed away from the cruise ship excursion. We had planned on
taking the rail in Skagway, but my husband noticed the Eagle
Preserve Float Trip so we nixed the train and took the van trip
through the White Pass instead so we could experience the preserve.
Boy did we make the right decision. Absolutely everything was great
including the lunch (nice surprise) on the island and we loved the
Orca Van!!!! Dave was so hands on and made us feel like we were his
only customers and our guide was great as well. Unfortunately I
cannot remember his name but I believe he was from South America. A
job well done and thanks again for an unforgettable experience.

Hi Dolly,
Just wanted to say, we returned from our Alaska trip
a week ago and our flight in the Misty Fjords was totally awesome!!
My husband Mark and the Ralstons loved it and our Pilot and Loraine
were so much fun. We landed on a small lake and got out on a rock,
the serene peaceful feeling was so neat! Thanks for all your help.

Just returned home and wanted to
provide some feedback regarding our experience during our excursions
with Dolly Varden Alaska.
First of all, THANKS for a great Alaska experience thru the Chilkat
Eagle preserve!!! It definitely exceeded our expectations:
1) The warm dockside greeting by Dave, and shuttle to the launch
site.
2) The use of the Rain jackets during the trip to Haines and Eagle
float definitely came in handy during the weather change.
3) The warmth, friendliness and knowledge of the guides and the
extra care they took with the kids and Grandma.
4) Great smoked salmon and glacial water.
5) Return trip to Skagway - running into a pod of Humpbacks and
staying with them a while.
We loved the exclusivity and specialness of traveling in a small
group. It was exactly what we were looking for!!!

Thank you so very much for the great trip rafting,
dog sledding (the highlight) and fishing, kayaking and hydroplane ride
into the glaciers and fjords. What a spectacular cruise
with your excursions! We can hardly wait to come again.
Thank you also for taking the time to pick up what man left behind
when we were rafting Dave. You are truly people who are one
with nature and our God. Thanks for your guidance, help and
generosity. It was a well organized adventure and we both
agree ( Patrick & I )that the dog sledding was awesome beyond
words.

Just wanted you both to know how
much we enjoyed our visit last week. I know Jeff Carlin is
probably a very nice man, but I'm glad he was unavailable the day
we went to Misty Fjords. We just loved Dave. And it was nice to
see Lorraine again.
Our visit to Haines was more than we
expected. We got to see Paul's dog, Blue (we were missing our
dogs so a few licks were welcome). Of course, landing on that ice
was pretty impressive. The fish at the Bamboo Room was just as
great as last time. And then Dave took us to beautiful Chilkat
Lake. What a special day that was. Thanks for everything.
We have friends visiting in September. We'll tell them to visit
your website. And, of course, we'll be back!

Thank you so much for all
your help with shore excursions for my group in Alaska. We had a
wonderful cruise and enjoyed each port. Haines came out on top on
our favorite list and I am sure that it is in part because of the
personal attention that Dave gave to our group! You will have to
keep us informed as to Dale's progress on the Salmon Restaurant
and ATV endeavor. I appreciate all the effort and time that Jane
put into our arrangements in all the ports. We will long remember
the beautiful float trip on the Chilkat and the stories of Mike.
